I completely agree with you on the point about putting magnet programs in schools where the regular kids are still failing, still unable to function successfully in our world. However, the point you raised about the alcoholism, you said that the only reason why they drink is to get drunk. i completely disagree with you, that is not the sole purpose. there is a type of healthy drinking of red wine, and there is a social and cultural aspect to drinking. drinking is not all bad, uncontrolled drinking is, just wanted to clarify.
