We already don't gots it no mo'. No mo' can we walk outside without fear of losing our life, it seems every teenager in america has gots access to a gun nowadays. With horomones raging and no fear of death, them younguns don't give a ship when they blow other people away. Paradise? I think not. The "American Dream" is no more attainable than finding a real diamond ring in a cracker jacks box.

Saigon has fallen. Air transports are waiting for any survivors who
wish to leave the country. The Communists have established
checkpoints at every other interesection in the transit system, so as
you move to the rendezvous point use extreme caution. Do not forget
to locate...the...item of substantial importance. You know what it
is, so do not ask further questions in case of possible infiltration.
After locating and obtaining the item, do not, I repeat, do not press
the red button. Doing so may result in something so random and
unknown that it could destroy the fabric of probability itself,
resulting in such an arbitrary event that even certain quadripeds will
learn to use wings.

I don't have to tell you how dangerous this mission is...I'm sure our
informant has made this clear to you. Time is against you, and so are
about forty thousand armed militia, but hey, you've got the training,
you've got the experience, and most importantly you've got
recklessness that rivals even the most hardened of garbage men. Use
your skills and perhaps even luck to come out on top and save the
world along with a few neighboring asteriods and a small taco stand in
the most remote region of the galaxy. If you fail, we are all doomed.
If you succeed, you will be proclaimed a hero and go down in history
as the bravest citizen the world has ever known...not to mention a
coupon for a free chalupa.

The Real Folk Blues - Zaboo

First in mind
Last in reality;
'Twas a bind
Not a specialty.

The time came to pass
I was ready to play.
The M acted like a jackass
I was not ready to stay.

They moved forward like things often do
Battles and ships, beams of light
Time opened its doors long after two
In spite of the blight of the gentle sight.

Oh, how the light played upon it
Like two spotlights fighting over a stage;
They rose, fell, and became lit,
Enclosing me within its cage.

You called me - yes you did!-
But awareness you did lack
As did I for the bid
Thought it a simple snack.

But no, my time had passed
And to my avail, again it came
But no, my aim was harassed
And to my lack, I lossed game.

The strike of an adder
Nothing less than mortal
Destroying my ladder,
My only escape portal.

The scar of sin.
The scent of the air.
The mark of death.
The beauty of the snare.

Has time been wasted
On this "has been" again?
Yet no one has tasted
What time offered when it began.

The road still lies in front
And my life grows
My path will continue on
And only time knows.

Michael knows where he goes.

Kyle can see the free gunnery.

Hsieh can show one the taste of the rainbow.

Stenard pulls the arm as he battles the death of the farm.

Adams knows that Q is the only type of shoe.

Scarfone stays on the phone while covered in foam. (whoops, sorry john)

Treichler ran to see Tran as he lossed Okonkwo's man.

Howell sees all things as foul.

Tiffany is not a man but is rather composed of pieces of the Koran.

Szabo...what can I say? A man who had it, but lost it within a day.

Thank you. Join me next week when I read my world-famous autobiography, the "Can o' Spam".

Lunch line, library, and the lily. When will the madness end?

I just saw an old episode of Star Trek the original series. It was the episode where the Nazi's took over the world because time was changed. Capt. Kirk and Mr. Spock kicked some major Nazi behind and destroyed the Third Reich. Afterwards, they laughed like little schoolboys who have just caught a mouse and are planning to eat it. "Har har har", said Cpt. Kirk, "I love when we do that." "Yes", said Mr. Spock, "it is logical that we use our power to destroy evil and instill a seemingly good government which will eventually lead to evil anyways. Har har har."

It's moments like these when I believe in Hsieh.

I cry...when other people deserve to die. Or do they? In my opinion they do. Or do I have the right to judge? I guess not. Considering things I have done, and what others do, no one has the right to place judgment upon a fellow citizen. Hsieh, you know the way. If only you could expand that thought into the realm of womanizing, which it seems you have a knack for. John Stenard, I admire your ability to stay strong and true despite hindrances. If only you could increase certain things here and there. Then you would truly be the "ideal Aryan". John Adams, what can I say. Good all around guy. A little rough on the edges, but you get the job done. If you can only destroy that habit of using Window's Media Player for David's material, then you would become the true John Q. (alliteration). Rachelle, you have the ability to foresee the future. I admire that. Intelligence finds you very hospitable, and when times are rough, you usually come through. I raise my hat to you, if only you could refrain from using the shoe. Kirk, master of distaster, the man of the hour, I give you my loyalty. It seems every time we converse I learn of some internal truth that never ceases to blow my mind. The Monk of Love has many virtues. Purge thyself of laziness, and "she" will be yours.

I will now terminate my judging for the time being. You may call me a hypocrite. I am. I know I am. Aren't we all? Maybe. But I accept it. It is what gives me power. Is that power dangerous? Certainly. But you must always remember the Flemish proverb, "Peah Peiajkd Peaiad kho", which does not translate at all to "No Pain, No Gain."

The Lily cometh. Will I come to? Probably not. But the dream is always there. It keeps me going. 3 months is a long time. Eternity is longer.

3 MONTHS...or maybe even more. I don't think I can take it much longer. I truly wish I had a time machine...or...maybe it just doesn't matter anymore. Maybe more drastic measures need to be taken.
